Nigel’s music combines the beauty of Impressionism with the complexity of jazz and contemporary classical styles.
His mastery of orchestral arranging techniques is evident in his work and his virtuosic piano skills are a key feature of his music. Nigel has completed an eclectic range of contemporary works, a selection of which can be heard here. He has recorded at the legendary Air Studios, published works with major labels such as KMI-EMI and had his music broadcast BBC Radio 3.
As a mentor, Nigel has accumulated an impressive roster of students including Soho.Live’s very own musical director, Nathan Britton, drum’n’bass legend, LTJ Bukem and Emmy-nominated film and TV composer, Ruth Barrett (Law & Order, The Bodyguard) of whom he has also collaborated on a number of projects.
